      Overview:

      Provides direct and indirect patient care services that meet the psychological, physical and general aspect of care: utilizes the nursing process in patient care; meets the communication and education needs of patient and family; provides care that reflects initiative and responsibility indicative of professional expectations. Communicates in a professional, positive, and assertive manner congruent with Mercy Service Standards. Communicates with physicians and other team members about changes in patients' conditions and is able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment. The RN will be required to float to the free standing ED locations (Bellavista & Springdale) when an emergency need arises. The RN will orienate to each site.

      Day Shift Requires ER Experience

      Shift: 6am-6pm

      Qualifications:

      • Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing either Associate Degree, Bachelor of Science in Nursing or Diploma Nursing Program.

      • Licensure: Registered Nurse current Arkansas license

      • Certifications: Current Basic Life Support, Current Advanced Life Support or complete within 90 days of hire, Current Pediatric Life Support or complete within 90 days of hire, Current TNCC or complete within one year of hire. NIH within 60 days and annually. ASLS education must be performed within 6 months of hire and a minimum of every two years.
