      Mercy 65+ Prime Plus Clinic in Joplin is seeking a full-time (40 hours a week) Medical Receptionist/Patient Service Rep to join our team.

      Overview

      The Patient Service Representative is often the first point of contact for our patients and therefore must represent Mercy with the highest standard of customer service, compassion and perform all duties in a manner consistent with our mission, values and Mercy service standards. This position will primarily work on main phone line answering inbound calls; however, will cross train in front desk responsibilities.

      • Clinic Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:30am to 4:00pm

      Qualifications:

      • Education: Medical office training beneficial. Education necessary to communicate effectively in written and verbal form. Knowledge of business office procedures, medical terminology and insurance procedures beneficial. Must have computer knowledge, typing skills and knowledge of basic math.
      • Experience: One year experience in a clinic setting beneficial or two years in a public contact position.
      • Certifications: CPR certification beneficial.
