Answers and dispatches incoming, outgoing and interdepartmental phone calls utilizing a switchboard console, two-way radio and pagers; Monitors all alarm systems, security systems and execute disaster and emergency protocols; Prepare the necessary reports, update call lists and directories; train new personnel and act as a resource of departmental policies and procedures. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values and Mercy Service Standards.




Education: GED or High School Diploma Licensure: NoneExperience: Previous Telecommunication experience and customer service skills preferred. Ability to prioritize in a multi-task oriented environment. Efficient computer, 1 key, and typing skills a must. Knowledge of Microsoft Office is preferred. Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.Certifications: Completion of S.A.F.E. Approach Level II within 6 months of employment.Other: Good oral and written communication, ability to handle occasional pressure due to varying call volumes and other emergent situations.Preferred Education: High school diploma or GED.Preferred Licensure: NonePreferred Certifications: None
